AmeriCAN-DO Attitude

Are you an AmeriCAN or an AmeriCAN'T?

This is Called Socialist Compassion

Brilliant. Now THIS is how you take down ignorant socialist BS spewed online. Major kudos to you, “Thomas Jackson”:

150 Let me offer you a bit of advice….

I’m an American expat since 1995. I have lived in Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Asia, working and playing. But regardless of what I was doing or why, one thing I have NEVER worried about, is “what if I get sick and the insurance companies deny me care?”

You see, I never have to worry about that, because from Holland to Prague, from Singapore to Hong Kong and yes, even Thailand, the insurance companies and the big drug companies don’t own the health care system.

The people do.

Sure, they pay 22% of their income in taxes. But so does the American. But look what they get for it; free or very cheap health care, a social safety net that keeps the weakest members of society off the street, affordable housing loans, they graduate college without being 10 years in debt upon graduation….

What do Americans get? They get the chance to make the war profiteers rich, the insurance companies filthy rich, the credit companies own everything, drug companies gouging old ladies for meds, and you know what?

You get to pay for bailing them out with you taxes when they go bust.

You think that having tens of millions of people on your streets without heath care is “the American Way”, but ultimately, YOU are paying for them… in higher medical bills, in higher taxes. Why not do this consciously.

Living and travelling in China, it is interesting to note that this Communist nation has been better at Capitalism than the USA. And while American businesses are saddled with bankrupt causing health care costs, the walking dead, the neocons, are wringing their hands over the threat of evil socialised health care, American’s competitors are defeating America by doing right by their citizenry in exchange for their tax dollars.

When will America wake up?

I lived overseas for 27 years and this is what I found about the world’s healthcare systems. I never had to worry about health care because I realized if I got seriously injured I was SOL. In most of the world you have to pay huge tax rates far in excess of 33%, in the UK they add a 15% national sales tax (I believe)on top of their huge income tax. What does this get you.

Non existent laboratories.

Non existant support staff such as lab techs, EXG techs, blood techs, nurses, etc.

Non existant pharmaceutical industry meaning most drugs are imported and many, many are conterfeit. IN Zaire only two pharmacies had the genuine article the others sold items that you bet your live on. Try getting drugs commonly available in many European nations and in the rest of the third world don’t hold your beath.

Emergency services rank right up there with the DMV. Have a heart attack in Mexico and see what happens. Canada has fewer MRI’s than NYC has for pets, that’s right buckaroo. You pays lots of cash to socialist bureaucrats and get to die.

So you get to pay huge taxes outside of the USA to enrich Socialists who create two ttier systems that you can’t get entry into. You line their pockets and those of their political cronies (sound familiar). And when you hearabout that safety net remember when France let 10,000 elderly die because of their safety net? Or how the UK lets people die once they reach an age their socialist masters determine limits their tax paying ability or cancer, broken hips, or any number of treatable yet slow lingering illnesses causing vast hardships and pain? This is called socialist compassion.

Indeed having worked in the PRC one finds not only homelessness but slavery where the average factory worker lives in dormitories with about four cubic yards to call his quarters, after working 12 hours a day 7 days a week.

Ever wonder why those who bray about the wonderfulness of foreign healthcare systems always find a reason to be treated in the US and not in such police state wonders? Maybe it has to do with their chances of surviving even minor treatment.

Ever wonder why these peoplenever allow state systems to compete with a private alternate? Who’d ever choose your friendly government doctor rather than one making a private living? Do you think competency has anything to do with it?

There are two government run healthcare systems. The VA, famed for involuntary medical experiments on its patients and the Indian Reservation System, or as the Indians refer to it Shermans Indian solution.

Care to enjoy a mandatory, no alternative healthcare system designed, controlled and funded by the same people who gave you AMTRAK, the Postal Service, and ACORN?

Are your liberties so useless that you’d allow the government to give you free healthcare much like the truly outstanding “free” public education you’re saddled with? If the answer is yes-
