Cindy Sheehan to Speak at My Alma Mater

*UGH* This is embarrassing, disappointing and enraging all at the same time: Anti-war activist and ‘Peace Mom’ Cindy Sheehan to speak at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Cindy Sheehan, peace activist and the mother of a soldier who was killed in Iraq, will speak at 8 p.m. April 12 in Stewart Center’s Fowler Hall at Purdue.

“Peace activist”? HAH! She is an activist for COMMUNISM, you ignorant schmucks. Some “news service” you are. This woman has been exposed as an anti-America, pro-America’s enemies, pro-Communism moonbat for over a year now and you still describe her as “peace activist” and “peace mom”? What a crock of crap.

The event is presented by Purdue Committee on Peace Studies with additional sponsorship by the Flora F. Roberts Bequest, Department of Political Science, American Studies Program, Women’s Studies Program, the Lafayette Area Peace Coalition, Pax Christi and the Indiana Peace and Justice Network. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Here is a look at a few of the sponsors of Cindy Sheehan’s visit to Purdue University. Keep in mind, this is solely for her visit to Purdue. We all know by now (at least I hope people are aware by now) her involvement with the anti-American Commies and Marxist-Leninists with International A.N.S.W.E.R. and Pro-Castro, anti-American-military terrorist supporters at CODE PINK. [Note: I am taking a guess that “Indiana Peace and Justice Network is a part of the national United for Peace and Justice Coalition]

Pax Christi

  • Subsidiary of the Catholic peace movement Pax Christi International
  • Depicts America as a nation plagued by racism, militarism, and economic injustice
  • Views military action as immoral and unjustified in every circumstance
  • Favors open borders; opposes efforts to curb illegal immigration

United for Peace and Justice

  • Anti-war coalition consisting of more than 1,300 local and national groups
  • Co-chaired by pro-Castro socialist Leslie Cagan

Sheehan, the mother whose vigil against the Iraq war outside President George W. Bush’s Crawford, Texas, ranch captured the nation’s attention in the summer of 2005, will talk on “Speaking Peace to Power.” A resident of Vacaville, Calif., she is the mother of Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, a soldier who was killed outside of Baghdad on April 4, 2004.

“Speaking Peace to Power”. Don’t make me barf. More like Speaking Communism to Power or Speaking Marxist-Leninism to Power or Speaking Castro to Power or Speaking the Downfall of America to Power. Cindy Sheehan’s version of “peace” is the same as the Islamic jihadists’ version of peace: there will be no “peace” until America is destroyed and Communism or Marxist-Leninism (in the Islamic jihadists’ case, it is Islamism) rules the land.

In August 2005 Sheehan announced that she would camp near Bush’s ranch until he agreed to speak with her about removing U.S. troops from Iraq and holding politicians responsible for the decisions that led to the war. Her vigil drew both protestors and counter-protestors, as well as national media coverage.

Yeah, it did until she was exposed by the Conservative Blogs and Military Blogs as being a pro-terrorist, anti-American military Communist who sides with America’s enemies such as Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez and considers President Bush the biggest terrorist in the world. Of course, the national media coverage could not find time to report THAT to the nation. I wonder why…

Since 2005 Sheehan, who has come to be called “Peace Mom,” has been leading antiwar protests around the country and internationally, and she was arrested and charged with unlawful conduct on Jan. 31, 2006, for displaying an antiwar slogan at President Bush’s State of the Union address. Those charges were dropped the next day.

Uh huh. I believe she was called “peace mom” by a fawing, Bush-hating media who loved pimping her Commie rear end all over the newscasts until she was outed as an America-hating fraud. And notice they do not mention her unlawful visit to Cuba to rip on the United States with Fidel Castro and then to Venezuela with Hugo Chavez. Oh no. No mention of that. Hmmm, I wonder why…

Sheehan is one of the nine founding members of Gold Star Families for Peace, an organization created in January 2005 that seeks to end the occupation of Iraq and provide support for families of fallen soldiers.

Yeah I am sure she cares so much for the families of fallen soldiers when she calls their sons and daughters baby-killers and murders of innocent Iraqis. I am sure that makes the families of the soldiers feel so good.

Harry Targ, coordinator of the Committee on Peace Studies, said that this lecture fits into the national public discussion about the war in Iraq.

“Purdue University has been an important site for presentations by former foreign policy decision makers, politicians, scholars and military personnel,” he said. “We have invited Cindy Sheehan to add the voice of a peacemaker to the marketplace of ideas on our campus.”

Ummm, Harry? The “peacemakers” are the United States SOLDIERS deployed over in Afghanistan, Iraq and all other parts of the world, working every day to make peace by fighting off those who would disrupt the peace by killing innocents. Cindy Sheehan is anything but a “peacemaker”. She gives aid and comfort to our enemies in the same way Jane Fonda did during Vietnam. You are either ignorant, delusional or a complete jackass. Or maybe a combination of all three. The fact that you are a coordinator of “Peace Studies” is pathetic. And worrisome if that is the drivel you are teaching to young adults at Purdue University.

The Committee on Peace Studies at Purdue offers an undergraduate interdisciplinary minor field of study and sponsors lectures and films on issues of war and peace. It is housed in the Department of Political Science.

I would be interested to find out if they offer lectures from Ayan Hirsi Ali or films such as Submission. Something tells me they do not…

All of these people will be receiving this post from me in their e-mail boxes every single day leading up to 04/12/2007 until they respond back to me letting me know they are publishing the truth about Cindy Sheehan, and her Communist groups to which she belongs, in the Purdue News roundup and in the Purdue Exponent (school paper). I encourage you all to do the same, even though you are not alumni.

Oh gag me. I’ll be sending these schmucks some much better pictures of Ms. Sheehan from her talks at anti-military and anti-America rallies across the world. I am sure they would be interested in seeing the picture of her kissing Hugo Chavez. Actually, they probably would not be interested, but they will be receiving it from me anyway.

And isn’t this nice, the Purdue University Committee for Peace Studies has a “Cindy Sheehan Lecture Site” setup specifically for her visit!

What a joke. And this is what they provide for “Background Information”:

  1. Wikipedia
  2. Gold Star Families for Peace

Again, I say, what a crock of crap. Purdue University will be receiving some proper background information on Ms. Cindy Sheehan very soon from a very pissed-off alumnus.
