What Happened in Cuyahoga County, OH?

President Trump won Ohio and I think Ohio was recently certified for President Trump. So this does not really matter much anymore.

But I thought it was interesting to see the county trend in Ohio regarding the largest counties and how they voted.

I call out Cuyahoga County (Cleveland), because there was basically no change from 2016. This is a Democrat stronghold that Hillary won by ~36% and Biden won by ~34%.

But it seems extremely odd that almost every other large county in Ohio saw thousands of votes difference in the margins between 2016 and 2020, while Cuyahoga County only saw a 583 vote margin difference. And in the direction of President Trump!

The counties with the largest vote margin differences:

Franklin County (Columbus) — 46,040
Hamilton County (Cincinnati) — 26,326
Montgomery County (Dayton) — 7,923
Delaware County (Delaware, just north of Columbus) — 7,895

I find it interesting that each of those counties has a college town in it. (Or nearby in the case of Delaware County).

Franklin County — Ohio State University (61,391 2019 enrollment)
Hamilton County — University of Cincinnati (46,388 2019 enrollment)
Montgomery County — University of Dayton (11,241 2019 enrollment)

Here is the increase in Democrat voter turnout for each of these counties:

Cuyahoga (Cleveland) — +17,905 (+4%)
Franklin (Columbus) — +57,946 (+16%)
Hamilton (Cincinnati) — +30,547 (+14%)
Montgomery (Dayton) — +7,923 (+11%)

I guess this is why one of Joe Biden’s last rallies before the election was in Cleveland.

In addition, notice that of the counties that Hillary Clinton won in 2016, Joe Biden increased Hillary’s vote margin over Trump only in the counties with college towns in them. If you look again at the chart above, you notice that President Trump flipped Lorain and Mahoning counties.

This may all be coincidence, but I still find it extremely odd that Democrats increased turnout in Democrat-stronghold Cleveland by only 4% and only had their biggest vote gains in counties with college towns.

Was this part of their voter fraud strategy across the country? If you look at Michigan in Washtenaw County (location of Ann Arbor and University of Michigan), you see there is +28,000 vote increase from 2016 (+22%).
